The SPUP Mobile KDC, in cooperation with the SPUP Community Development Center, held storytelling sessions in Barangay Tagga, Tuguegarao City on September 13, 2008. The SPUP KDC Librarian, Romeo Ong-ongawan, and 3rd Year BLIS students, namely: Merlie Narag, Sheila Mei Soriano, Maryjane Tagacay, Fredina Calimag, Maryjane Padilla and Melody Remudaro composed the Mobile KDC Group. The activity was attended by 36 children from ages 4 to 10. Storytelling sessions were also conducted at Tananguinit, Bitag Grande, Baggao, Cagayan on October 5, 2008.
Storytelling sessions were done in two ways: plain or direct storytelling and storytelling with pictures. Each student related one kind of story and the children were asked to draw the characters or any of the events that took place in every story related.
